Religious Views

As I was talking to the father, he mentioned a lot of factors that makes the senior citizens close to the church or any other religious places. But the two most important factors that I think why religion is important to them is the reality of death and the other one is that most of them has been through a difficult life and come out of it while our generation is looked after well. So they get a feeling that they have no one to go to.

After days of talking to random senior citizens and priests, we decided to go to an old age home. And what I learnt from that was, the situation is very different over there compared the outside world. They are very dependent over there and they spoke a lot about family and children. But what I noticed talking to the senior citizens outside was that they consider themselves like any other normal person. They cannot accept the fact that they are old that easily. But all of them who I have spoken to are very religious and they will always be.
